Importing Data from Version 2.4A to Version 5 with Photos

Hello, I have been using version 2.4A so far and wanted to upgrade to version 5. I can import the GED file into version 5, but the photos added in version 2.4A are missing. How can I import the data from version 2.4A including the pictures? Thank you in advance for your response.

there is a longer way to import your data, but the photos will appear in the version 5.

If you still have Agelong Tree 2.4, here is the instruction:
1. Download the first converter from https://genery.com/files/AgelongTreeConvertor.zip, follow exactly its instructions: create an archive file as it is described in the converter instructions and start the conversion. Choose "Create flat table of places". The converter will create .atd file and a *.files folder with documents\photos\biographies.

2. Download the next converter by clicking the link: https://genery.com/files/AgelongTreeConvertorSetup4.exe, start it, choose the .atd file, the converter will create .at4 file.

3. Launch Agelong Tree 5, click "All actions" - "File" - "Import" - "Agelong Tree 4 file" and choose .at4 file.

I have version 2.4 on an old disk and I cannot run the program, I only have the data. The empty.lta file is empty, there is only the database itself, as I understand it, lifetree.mdb.
How can I convert this data together with the photos to the format of the current version of your program?

Hello, you can send us your lifetree.mbd file together with Biographies and Persons folders, we will convert it.
