To correctly install Agelong Tree 5 on a USB flash drive or portable USB disk (hereinafter referred to as the USB drive), follow these steps:

1. Prepare a USB drive of any volume, even a very small one will do – the choice of the size of the USB drive depends on the number of photos and videos that you plan to add to the program, since the rest of the data does not take up much space. One modern photograph weighs an average of about 5 MB, which means that about 200 photos can be recorded on a 1 GB drive.

2. Download the program from our website, save the downloaded file to the computer, then run it by double-clicking the left mouse button and allow the program to make changes on the computer.

3. The program installation wizard will open. Carefully read the instructions, select the type of installation: “On a portable disk or USB flash drive.”

4. After the installation is complete, the program will open, enter your portable license activation code.

5. To transfer data to a USB flash drive, run the program, click the All Actions menu - File - Open and select a data file in the file selection window, by default it is stored in the My Family folder in User Documents. After that, click the All Actions menu - File - Save As, and in the window for selecting the folder to save, select the USB flash drive with the program. To create a new file, click the menu All actions - File - New.

6. For the next program launch, use the file named Agelong Tree (Agelong Tree.bat) on the portable disk; do not use the data file to start the program.

Always agree to back up data when the program offers it, keep the archive copy on a computer, on another USB flash drive or in the cloud storage.
